Two of Sensei Cowan's most experienced students, Kevin Brown and John Dykes have now been promoted to club instructors. This is an outstanding achievement.

John is only 15 but a very mature 15, who has spent the last 4 years training with the adults. He is always helpful, polite and courteous, a credit to his parents, Sensei Cowan and an example to us all.

Kevin, slightly older, has been running the adult and junior sessions during Sensei Cowan's recent absence. Being deaf hasn't affected his teaching in any way, in fact his lip reading is so good you forget that he is death - comes in handy though when its his round! Only kidding!

Again congratulations to you both and lets make sure that we all support them as they get in to serious training for their black belt.

Monday night training is back on. There's a competition in July so if you want to compete you need to catch up with some serious training now!
